Hull Brothers Rental is owned by twin brothers Doug and Don Hull who have over 30 years of experience each. They carry rental equipment for the construction equipment specialists and for the homeowner. Two years ago they branched out and started providing lift safety courses and expanded to create Workplace University. Their goal is to focus on various job training courses for the workplace to increase productivity and overall safety, health and wellness of employees.
When human beings experience a traumatic emergency incident, it is not uncommon for their everyday lives and work performance to suffer. Our great passion is providing the necessary knowledge and training to reduce your risk of having to experience such an event. Our goal is to equip individuals and companies with the necessary tools to be prepared to respond to such emergencies.
Hally Yonko, Director of Operations
Hally Yonko earned her Bachelor’s in Education (Health and Physical Education) from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1995. From there, she earned her professional teaching certificate. After teaching, writing curriculum, coaching and running private swim and tennis clubs for 5 years in Baltimore, Hally moved to Michigan. She spent the next 16 years teaching, coaching and being a high school athletic director at Fr. Gabriel Richard High School. She earned her certified athletic administrators (CAA) certificate in 2010 and her certified master athletic administrators (CMAA) certificate in 2013.
Hally felt it was important to give back and help teach others how to grow in the profession and best serve schoolr communities. She became involved and served the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) and the Michigan Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (MIAAA) by being a MHSAA Coaches Advancement Program (CAP) Instructor, MIAAA Learning Training Institute Instructor. She also served as the Michigan State Co-Coordinator for the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA).
Hally has dedicated a great deal of her career creating policies and procedures to help ensure safe environments for the companies and schools she has worked for. She has also a certified instructor for the American Red Cross teaching CPR/AED and First Aid classes since the 1990’s. She believes teaching these skills can save a life!
As the Director of Operations at Workplace University, Hally continues to share her knowledge and skills to help other companies, businesses and school’s to strive to educate and empower them to increase productivity and individual’s health and wellness.
Jessica Gaderick, Lead Instructor and Consultant
Jessica Gaderick holds a dual Master’s Degree in Rhetoric and Technical and Professional communication from New Mexico State University. She also holds a dual Bachelor’s Degree in English and journalism with an emphasis on photography. She has been teaching college-level English composition and literature for 25 years. She has extensive experience in curriculum development. As an instructor in many educational environments, Jessica has proven success in the classroom teaching to a diverse learning community and adapting lessons and assignments to best fit student needs.
In addition, Jessica is a skilled and professional writer and communications specialist with proven ability to provide effective written materials in a deadline-driven environment. She is a creative and resourceful writing consultant to organizations, project teams, and individuals. She is well versed in copyediting, transcription/editing of interviews, and proofreading. Jessica has a strong technical command of the English language; familiarity with virtually all writing styles; serious commitment to excellence in the printed and published word; as well a competent researcher, interviewer, and reporter.
Megan Mahoney, Instructor and Consultant
Megan Mahoney is a certified and licensed athletic trainer. She went to Capital University where she received her Bachelors of Arts in Athletic Training in 2014. In 2016, she graduated with her Master of Arts in Sport Science and Pedagogy where she was also a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Gardner-Webb University. Megan is currently a certified athletic trainer at Michigan Medicine and provides athletic training services to Father Gabriel Richard High School.
Amy Skrent, Instructor
Amy Skrent received a Bachelors of Science in History and Psychology from Eastern Michigan University, as well as a Provisional teaching certificate, in 2006. In 2015, she completed the requirements for a Professional teaching certificate issued by the State of Michigan, and in 2016, earned a Master of Arts in Educational Psychology with a focus on the Developing Learner, also from EMU. Amy has been employed at Father Gabriel Richard High School in Ann Arbor for the past twelve years; she coached varsity cheerleading for ten years, served as the administrative assistant in the Athletic Department for six, and has been teaching for eight. In her time in the classroom, Amy has taught AP US History, Psychology, Economics, Modern Western Civ, US History, and Introduction to Film Study; she also carries a caseload of students through the Learning Resource Center, ensuring that they receive one-on-one attention for issues both in and outside the classroom environment.
Joshua Carl, Instructor
Joshua Carl graduated from Michigan State University with his Bachelors of Arts degree and received his teaching certificate in History Education. He has his endorsements in Economics, Geography, and Political Science. He is currently a social studies and computer science teacher at Father Gabriel Richard High School. There, Josh helps his student create an understanding through history that is used to understand the world today. He also prepares young adults with the necessary computer skills to be successful in the educational and professional world, including mastering the software programs of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Joshua Carl is also the Men’s Head Lacrosse Coach at Cleary University. Joshua hopes to continue to prepare today’s youth through the introduction of skills such as resume building, interview skills, proper social media etiquette, and many other key life skills that will provide the necessary tools for students to be successful as they enter the professional world.
Rick Chappo, Instructor
Rick Chappo graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 1987 where he earned a
degree in Communications and Industrial Safety. He has 20+ years of industrial training in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Rick recognized early on that he wanted to train, motivate and help other industrial workers advance in their careers. He is a people person and loves helping others. These qualities help him to connect with those he teaches and make a difference in the industry.
